Ambassador East Hotel

Built in 1926, the 285-room hotel now showcases blackout Solar Shades. The hotel is home to the famous Pump Room - a restaurant frequented by Hollywood A-listers of the 1950s. The new owner, Ian, Schrager, is also part owner of Studio 54 in New York City.
